Our Provider

Satera Washington DNP-CNP, is a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and is Board Certified by American Nurses Credentialing Center. She is licensed by the state of Oklahoma to provide mental health services to all ages. Her scope of practice encompasses health promotion, disease prevention, diagnosis and management of common, complex, acute and chronic mental health conditions beginning in childhood and continuing throughout the aging process. She combines psychotherapy and strategies of self-care along with medication management when indicated.

In 2010, she received a Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree with honors from Kramer School of Nursing in Oklahoma City. In 2017, she pursued her interest in nursing and received a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with honors from Brandman University in Orange County, California.

She has over 20 years’ experience of working with children, adolescents, adults, and the geriatric population in both acute and residential settings receiving mental health and behavioral management services. She has experience servicing these populations in inpatient settings as well.

​

She is an active advocate for mental health in the community. She is a member of American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Association of Oklahoma Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
